What
a 'spirit'ed performance by Mohanlal in the latest Ranjith movie!!! The
first half would have come very naturally to him ;) That aside, it
indeed is a watchable movie!!! And, nothing could be a more relevant
topic than alcoholism in current times, where the beverage corporation
in Kerala (& country-wide)makes the most profit even under tough
economic conditions!!!! The movie is preachy, yes...but
then for a subject as this, its only a natural progression! And,
Ranjith has been fairly successful in sending out the message without
the movie turning out to be a documentary!
I absolutely loved
Sankar Ramakrishnan in his role as Alexy! And, I say it again, Mohanlal
was a complete natural....! Totally totally loved the expression on his
face when he longs to hug his ex-wife & she pushes him away!!!
